R.I.P.
Kanye and Donda's Only TV Appearance

Kanye West and his mother Donda appeared only on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" this past May to discuss "Raising Kanye," Donda's book about her experience as his mom and manager. At one point, Ellen asks Kanye if he's a mama's boy -- check out his reaction.

Dr. Donda West spent 31 years as an educator, 24 of those years at Chicago State University, before retiring to become her son's manager. She was only 58 when she died Saturday night.

Ellen will be doing a tribute to Kanye and his mother on this Wednesday's show. Check your local listings.

16. Hmmm my comment about Mrs. West being on Oprah show i think is wrong and saying that Opray probably introduced mrs. West to this Quack since he was on Oprahs show also was wrong because I see here that it was Ellen's show that Mrs. West was on and NOT Oprahs show!! A retraction here.

19. I heard that Ms. West wanted a body "like those bitches and ho's in my son's videos" Too bad it cost her his life. I wonder how Kayne feels now about abusing female bodies in Rap videos.

26. My condolences go out to Kanye and his family. Kanye is hurting very deeply as he and his mother were obviously very close. I lost my mother at the same age (58 yoa) and my heart goes out to him.

28. i'm so sorry for kanye. that is a very difficult situation.

given that he often appears irritated and angry, i suspect this will in no way help things. the man's filled with a chris rock-style of hatred for whites.

30. First of all, Kanye has just lost his mother. All these stupid comments posted are ever so wrong. And you will remember them when you lose someone you love. So what if she had plastic sugery. Thats her choice. Not yours. And as far as that comment about Kanye being gay, bet he can whoop ypur a** any day of the week. Kanye, you are in my prayers and in my heart. I am so sorry for your loss. Let God ease your pain and remember that it is the memories of people that keep them alive. Your mother was wonderful and all these stupid people talking all this shi* couldn't amount to her if they had 5 lifetimes to do so.
