Prince Harry: Who's My Daddy?!

For years, rumors have swirled questioning the paternity of Great Britain's Prince Harry. Red hair say what?
James Hewitt, Prince Harry, Earl Spencer
While reports have always suggested that Diana's flame-haired ex-lover, James Hewitt (left), may be the late Princess' real baby daddy, author Christopher Anderson claims in his new book "After Diana," that now Harry (center) himself wants to take a DNA test to put the rumors to rest. Over the Queen's dead body!

Although Harry and Hewitt both share a carrottop likeness, it should be noted that Diana's brother, Earl Spencer (right), is also a redhead. So there is some red in Diana's blue blood!

Should Harry decide to go ahead and take a DNA test against the Queen's wishes, he might want to stay out of Parisian tunnels.

241. Hewitt's eyes being brown DOES NOT make him not eligible as the father! Who wrote that??!!
If Hewitt carries a brown eye gene and a blue eye gene, Hewitt would still have brown eyes himself but he would definitely be able to pass on the blue eyed gene to any child he has. Each person passes on ONE of the two eye color genes they carry to their child.

243. During the recent Matt Lauer interview I noticed that Harry bears a striking resemblance to the Earl of Spencer. Lucky him, to take after his mother's side of the family!

244. Yes, Sonya, Hewitt could father a blue-eyed child. He as two sets of genes - one from each parent. If he inherited a blue-eyed gene from one of his parents, his brown-eyed gene would still predominate, making his eyes heterozogous (one brown, one blue gene) brown. But that doesn't mean he couldn't pass on his blue-eyed gene to a child. A blue-eyed parent can't pass along a brown-eyed gene - he doesn't have one. But a heterozygous brown-eyed parent could easily pass along either.

246. Sorry Sonya, your comment is not accurate. It is entirely possible with a brown eyed parent and a blue eyed parent, you can have a blue eyed child. The odds are against it, but it is completely possible, and more likely than you think. My husband has blue eyes, I have brown eyes, and my son has blue eyes, and my daughter has brown eyes.

I say take the DNA test, Harry!

247. To TMZ's defense, this rumor or idea has been circulated for years, it hasn't started here. People can debate it but the fact is Her Majesty The Queen, would never allow Prince Harry to take a DNA test. If it's revealed he is not the son of The Prince of Wales, he would be forthwith stripped of his style and title, and position as third in line to the throne. That would be a crisis to the Monarchy, however if it did happen, I imagine The Queen would bestow upon him a courtesy title as a Duke but a Princely title he would no longer legally possess. For only the children of a male Royal hold this rank. And Diana, Princess of Wales was only royal by virtue of marriage.

248. Prince Harry has Lady Sarah Spencer's exact bone structure. That's lady Diana;s sister. They saw when he was born he was all Spencer. Red hair, blue eyes. But Lady Sarah always had much darker hair so people may not see the resemblance. Square chin and fine jawline with a point.

Charles dated her for a while. Princess of Wales would not been the same person is the Hewitt rumors were true, she would not have been so angry and full of Camilla rage. She would have been acting invisible. And she would have been too ashamed to do the Dimbleby interview and other things.

Prince Philip last did a DNA test for the lady claiming to be Grand Duchess Alexandra. I bet a DNA test has ALREADY been performed by harry doesn;t know about it, Just MI5 and QE2. A LOT of stuff Diana knew went to her grave. This was probably one of the secrets. Not that harry was hewitt's but that the Royal Family tested it.

249. Harry looks like Diana's Father, nose and all. Really people(TMZ) Don't go there with this young man......Sure glad I'm not rich or famous in todays world you all are brutal!!!

250. Poor choice in end comments, TMZ.

Oh, and my mother and brother have brown eyes. I share a strange grey-blue with my father. Not impossible.

251. Look how close Prince Harry's eyes are together; just like Charles, his Dad. Hewit's eyes are much further apart. I think he looks exactly like his grandmother, the Queen. He is Charles son and a DNA test will prove it. I hate this has to be done though. So sad and tragic to even make Prince Harry think that his heritage is being questioned.

252. he is very handsome

253. No way! Harry definitely got his looks from his Dad's side. He looked more like Charles than Hewitt.

254. Dianas eyes were blue...and although Brown eyes are NORMALLY predomiante...Blues eyes with one parent having blue eyes is entirely possible....I am living proof of that!!

Posted at 5:06PM on Jul 18th 2007 by WTF?

255. Prince William looks less like Prince Charles then does Prince Harry. And Prince Harry bears no resemblance to James Hewitt whtasoever, except for the hair color. The only real proof would be a DNA test. But I think it's safe to say that Prince Charles is the father of both Williiam and Harry.
