Kelly Ignores 800 lb. Rosie in the Room

Kelly Ripa put an awkward sock in it this morning, when it came to addressing her bitch-brawl with Rosie O'Donnell, and made it very clear that she didn't see Clay Aiken's pointed goof last night on their now infamous hand-over-mouth incident.

On "Live with Regis and Kelly," the usually chirpy banter between Ripa and Regis tiptoed around the biggest controversy Kelly has ever been involved in, with no mention at all of Ripa's phoned-in on-air feud yesterday with O'Donnell on "The View." Regis made an oblique reference to it when, before thrusting a large oxygen pump into Kelly's gaping mouth, he said his own hands were "clean as a whistle." And the irony of Ripa wearing a surgical mask and gloves when receiving a flu shot later in the show was rather hard to ignore.

Earlier, Regis asked Kelly whether she'd seen the American Music Awards show last night. On the telecast, broadcast on Ripa's own ABC network, Clay Aiken came out to present with Tori Spelling, and while Clay jabbered on, Tori clapped her hand over Aiken's mouth, saying, "I'll tell you where that hand's been later." Kelly replied that, in fact, she was watching a Tony Bennett special on a rival network. Talk to that hand, Clay!

31. Miss Kelly needs to learn how to share the spot light. I believe her PRIDE was hurt more than her feelings. Remember she is the center of attention when Regas is around. She overtalks him and when Clay (even though I believe what he did was rude) put his hand over mouth, she could stand the muzzling of the ox (old term meaning putting a silence to all the noise). PRIDE is a dangerous but obvious thing. Unless Kelly and Clay were good BUDS, he should not have done what he did. And Rosie, is WRONG, his likestyle chose had nothing to do with what he did yesterday, just poor judgement.

32. I watch Live everyday. Kelly was right in scolding Clay. He was a guest. He wouldn't have put his hand over Regis's mouth. That's for sure! He really needs to grow up. He acted as if this was the first time in front of a camera. He was much sillier than Kelly that day. I certainly wouldn't let him or any other man, straight or gay put their hand over my mouth. Where are his manners? Granded, Kelly does talk a little too much some times, but he could have just made a comment or joke about letting him get a word in edgewise! I think he was a little annoyed about Kelly dressing up like him for Halloween, also. He's in the public spot light now, he has to just grin and bare it. As far as the Butch, Rosie making the comment on the View..... She is just a big mouth looking to get back in the groove of stardom. I stopped watching the View, the day she started. Barbara Walters, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? She uses every opportunity to degrade other people, straight and Gay. So you're a lesbian, who cares!! You are giving other lesbians and gays a VERY bad name. Just when other gays have felt comfortable about coming out.... you are pushing them back into the closet! Just retreat to your home, you certainly don't need the money, and for God's Sake, mind your own business, and SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!

33. The Gay and Lesbian community should be outraged today and calling for boycotts...but not directed at Regis & Kelly, but rather, directed at Rosis O' Donnell and The View for outing Clay Aiken!!! We can only speculate what Kelly meant by telling Clay not to place his hand on her mouth, however, we know without a doubt what Rosie meant about Gays, because she said it in her own words...by intentionally outing Clay Aiken...which was the whole point of this matter. She used his dust up with Kelly Ripa as an excuse to intentionally out him as a move to garner higher ratings during ratings sweeps month (November). She knows without a doubt that Kelly Ripa's comments were not homophobic!!! And speaking of outing people...I've noticed that it has become a sport in the Gay community. They seem to actively resent those in their community who choose to live in the closet, and go out of their collective ways, in general, to out them!!! On the other hand, the truth about most heterosexuals is...they don't tend to enjoy outing people, rather, they tend to prefer that people stay in the closet...or are indifferent either way!!!

Now, on the issue of Homosexuals, individuals like Rosie O' Donnell, who regularly go out of their way to remind us daily that they are Gay are being abusive!!! They have an in your face sort of attitude where they assume everyone is anti Gay...so this is their chance to get even...to turn over your dinner table, just because they are mad at the bigots in our society who seek to suppress them. I have no problem with them, or anybody else, taking on a bigot...but when you inappropriately start assuming that everyone of a certain elk is a bigot for the sake of bolstering one's agenda...well, that becomes bigotry wholly onto itself!!!

Yes...we hear all the time about Gay Bashing...and yes, it happens, but I have known people who have been bashed by Gays...for not being Gay!!! I've heard accounts of people being beaten up, including women, for resisting come ons by Gays. You see, bigotry can go both ways. And when you look at yourself as belonging to one group, it is easy to become more than an advocate...and something of a bully, no different than a frat member or a Klan member and or Gay Basher. And that is what Rosie has become!!!

In an earlier post, I wrote about the accounts of Bi-Sexuals being the targets of bigotry in the Gay and Lesbian community for not commiting to strict Homosexuality. I've also heard Lesbian Leaders claim that all Heterosexual sex is a form of raped...due to a man penetrating a woman with his penis. Of course, they have no problem with a woman using a strap-on with her lover. Or penetration with a lover's finger...etc. This is all nothing but hypocrisy at its best...and wreaks of an agenda!!! And that agenda is bigotry against Heterosexuality...and it is no different an agenda (by some) than that against Gays!!!

I've noticed that most Heterosexuals don't go out of their way to remind us that they are straight...unless they are hiding latent Homosexuality...or are manifesting some other deep seeded issue--Needing attention, low self esteem, drug abuse, mental illness, or having been sexually abused, etc. Either way, this kind of behavior is not deemed to be acceptable among thoughtful Heterosexuals, no matter what a person's sexual orientation is!!! The fact is, when most responsible Heterosexuals bring up their sexuality, they tend to have organic discussions. Meaning, it tends to be organic to the conversation...as opposed to being forced into discussions. If something comes up concerning your dating status...or marital situation, the average Heterosexual might respond: My girfriend or boyfriend does this or that...or my husband or wife does that or the other. It is never usually: Look at me!!! Give me some attention because I'm a Heterosexual!!! Let me force feed you this!!! There is no Hetero recruitment movement...at least not among mentally well balanced people, religious extremists excluded!!!

My point...we don't need The View or any other show turned into a one platform agenda show. If Rosie wants to preach and convert people to Homosexuality, she has the right to...just do it somewhere else and stop abusing the viewers with your mono politcal/sexual agenda!!! When Political Correctness becomes an excuse for fascism at the hands of people like Rosie O' Donnell who abuse the process, you know there is a problem!!! Truth is, Rosie is no different than David Duke, Mel Gibson and Michael Richards--for they are all--Bigots!!!

34. I still support kelly 100% on this situation.

Lying O'Donnell in the "I'M RIGHT & EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG UNLESS YOU AGREE WITH ME" mode again.

Outed Lying Aiken, gets mad when asked which way he swings.

Well, dummy, IF YOU WERE NOT GAY NO ONE WOULD BE ASKING BECAUSE THAT IS HOW YOU ACT, LIKE YOU ARE GAY.

800 POUND LYING O'Donnell

BIG MOUTH, LIAR, TRASH!!

35. Kelly expressed that she was offended about Clay placing his hand over her mouth. Clay owes Kelly an apology point blank. He should apologize for what he did. He was wrong for doing it and wrong for not apologizing for it. He was pretty rude to her throughout the whole show, her show.

Rosie had no business getting involved, for one it was not her business and she just added more fuel to the fire.

As far as Clay being straight or Gay, who's cares! I have never really cared for him or his music. Just food for thought! If he was straight he would be offended by being called Gay. Most straight me are.

36. ROSIE, ROSIE, ROSIE.....What happened to the 'Queen of nice' that has turned you into such a bitter person.
You are EXPECTING more than you give. You have NO problem speaking YOUR mind...but it seems that when another person does the same, they are on your, now famous, HIT LIST.
Projecting YOUR feelings about Clay putting HIS hand over KELLY'S mouth puts you in a situation that you have no business in. It wasn't your hand...and it sure wasn't YOUR FACE.
GET OVER YOUR SENSITIVE SELF ROSIE...AND GROW UP....PUT THE EGG SHELLS WHERE THEY BELONG AND NOT UNDER THE WORLDS FEET~!

37. Clay Aiken can put his hand anywhere on my body he wants, germ or no germs, gay or not gay!

Kelly Ripa and Rosie are both prima donna's one is fat and has a fat mouth, one just has a fat mouth.

39. Personally I think Kelly should have bit Clay Aikens. He exercised not only poor judgement but also poor manners. As for Rosie? Well I'm really getting sick and tired of her going around bashing everyone and claiming that nearly everyone who doesn't agree with her is homophobic. She walks around with a gigantic chip on her shoulder just daring someone to knock it off. She says she's openly a "gay woman", but it seems to me that she's got some issues regarding her sexual preferences. She can't see things for what they are, everything has to be based on sexual preference, it's sickening. I think the producers of "The View" made a huge mistake by bringing her onto the show. They say Starr Jones was bad, well I know that Rosie is worse! She uses the show for her own twisted agenda and she's ruining an otherwise enjoyable show. The other ladies on the View should put their feet down on this one and push to have her removed, she's giving the show a black eye. As for Kelly Ripa....KUDOS!!! It's disgusting that "Mr. Aikens" gave his actions not a moments thought after shaking hands with so many strangers. She was right to scold him, afterall, who knows whether those people's hands were clean or not..........not everyone washes their hands after using the restroom (YUCK!!!).

Rosie, it's time for you to shut your big, hateful mouth and learn some compassion, tolerance and understanding. Once you do, your world will be alot happier.

40. in my opinion, i would have said to fat rosie , damn right i am homphobic, keep your nasty hands to yourself,,,if u r gay or a lesbo, that is your thing, do not bring it into my circle, once u have infringed on my rights to my beliefs and morals , u have crossed the line of no return, kelly held it together extremely well, rosie is just pissed cause kelly won't go her way,,,, good for kelly,,, , so you damn right, i will leave ur group alone, as long as u keep to yourself,,, once u cross the line, it is open season, and i will open up on u , in front of anybody, i do not care who is present, i do not have to accept it, or be politically right to satisfy whats making our nation a disgrace, homphobic,,,kelly probably really wanted to say , hell yeah,,, i love men, who love women,,, but being on day time tv and the media being what they are, no one wants to go that way for career sake, as far as the view goes, they should fire fat rosie, that crap she spews has no place on daytime television, america does not accept your private life, they may put up with the day show, but believe me the percentages are on the net, just look for yourself, as far as gay men, go, the boneheads in my town, know not to go the places i frequent or my group frequents, here we will chastize the clowns,,,no question,, so realize not all america agrees with your activity fat rosie

41. First of all, I don't post comments but, Rosie's judgement for Kelly's action, when Clay Aiken displayed ungentlemanly conduct on her show, is just ridiculous. Who is Rosie to judge Kelly or anyone for that fact???? For crying out loud, Rosie!!! All you've done is to show fans who has more class!!! Bravo Kelly, for not responding to this issue on the show this morning!!!

42. I'm so tired of Rosie. If Kelly didn't want a hand over her face it's her right to speak on it and if Clay didn't want his sexuality exposed it's his right . (So shush up for one minute Rosie if you can.....)

I'm am so sick of people turning issues into gay or race issues. How sad is that? Let's not jump to conclusions and finger point before a person has a chance to speak for themselves.

The view show is boring anyway and if they are trying to get ratings from her they made a mistake!

43. I think that rosie must be very uncomfortable with herself, and may be a homo -hipocrite, considering that she must bring sooo much attention to herself with her comments about anything and everything even remote about homosexuality. As a fan of her old talk show, once she came out she came out period. Everything else is not about her and what she thinks about others. Her lesbian chatter is tiring, and old. She should live her own life and let others do the same. Rosie, all is not gay. Maybe thats why she gives so much away . a purchase for approval. You are smart and funny go with it , cause who cares about what you want in private... I sure don't.

44. Kelly Ripa, IMO, is one of the biggest hprocrites on TV today!!!

I've heard her say time and time again how shows like the "Bachelor" set women back ....women should not be bickering over a guy they met for a second etc.....yet, she 'll darn well get on her, sorry, Regis's show and ridicule these same women!! HYPROCRITE!!!

In her rant to Rosie she said she treated Clay with respect . Excuse me, but she made fun of Clay's sexuality when she dressed like him (On Air) for Halloween and then proceeded to make out with Bo Bice (Regis). She crossed the line and that to me was NOT respectful, especially if Clay is still in the closet, which is his business. Clay is not the first person or celeb that Kelly has ticked off...her smiley face doesn't fool me anymore!! She is NOT a nice person and proved it in the last couple of days. Oh and the look of disgust and the tone in which she reacted about not knowing where Clay's hand could have been, honey........ was so homophobic!! I read between the lines as did others and pluezzze...to say she was referring to germs, flu season etc!! LIAR LIAR pants on fire!!! This is the same woman who takes her fancy a$$ shoes of every other day and licks them all over, chewed Regis's old gum, cut his toe nails!!! Come ON!!!

And than to go on air Monday further sticking it to Clay publically was a low blow. She thought the audience was going to back her up as well, but NOT ONE person clapped...only silence which made her look like a spoiled, whiny, washed up soap actor which she'll always be. All she had to do was take Clay aside, privately during or after the show and voice her displeasure at his behaviour, which I thought he probably deserved, somewhat. Instead she cowardly took a stance on TV, behind Clays back and dug a deeper hole for herself.

I used to enjoy watching Live with Regis and Kelly, but no more. I'm done.
I will, however, continue to watch the View!!!

45. Hello,

Is there some other way that I can add my comments WITHOUT having to resort to going back and forth in my silly email in order to "activate" my posts all the time?

Thank you! :)
